Schoellhorn-Albrecht Manufacturers 18,000 lb NAVMOOR-15 Mooring Anchors

 

Schoellhorn-Albrecht recently completed a contract to manufacture (4) 18,000 lb Navmoor Mooring Anchor for the Navy's oldest floating dry-dock, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Centers (MARMC) Dynamic, (AFDL 6), along with its companion barge (YFND 30).

After fabrication, the anchors assemblies were proof tested to 214,000 lbs and magnetic particle inspected.
