Schoellhorn-Albrecht Anchor Windlass and Capstan for Alaska Day Class Boat

 

Schoellhorn-Albrecht recently delivered new Anchor Windlasses and Capstans for [2]  Alaska Day Class Boats.

The Vertical Anchor Windlass was designed to ABS regulations for 1 ¾” anchor chain and features a 30 HP marine duty electric motor, 18” capstan and integrated chain stopper.  The anchor windlass generates 21,000 lbs of pull @ 30 fpm. 

The Capstan features a 20” diameter barrel and 20 HP marine duty electric motor that generates 15,000 lbs of pull @ 35 fpm.  The Capstan was designed for a static bollard load of 150,000 lbs.

The Anchor Windlass was inspected and certified by ABS in our St. Louis facility.
